Messages in personal 1:1 chats are end-to-end encrypted by default — the keys live on your devices, and our servers store and relay only ciphertext they cannot read. The honest trade-off: Maven can't assist inside an encrypted chat, so either participant can switch encryption off per chat in its settings. Group chats, hubs and Maven conversations stay private to your account. Call media runs on our own self-hosted servers — no third party sits in the middle of your voice or video. You control your visibility (hide from Community, limit last-seen) and can delete your account and all your data at any time.
Two ways. People top up AI Credits when they want more AI than they've earned — casual use is covered by the in-app economy, heavy use is paid. And sponsors fund the attention side: promoted posts pay RPM to the people who engage, and sponsor bonuses hand out promo codes.
